As already rumored before, Sony will announce a new high-end APS-C mirrorless camera in late May 2021. New rumors said that this new camera will not be named Sony a6700, maybe it will be named a6800 or a6900. This new camera will have similar design as a7C. Sony a7R IVA & a7R IIIA Officially Announced ! (2.36M Dots LCD and USB 3.2)


Sony has officially announced the new a7R IVA and a7R IIIA. The main differences between a7R IV/a7R III are below:

  • The number of LCD’s dots has been changed from 1,440,000 to 2,359,296
  • The Sony logo under LCD monitor has been removed
  • The definition of USB has been changed to “SuperSpeed USB 5Gbps (USB 3.2)”
