Sony today has officially announced the new FE 200-600mm f/5.6-6.3 G OSS Lens and FE 600mm f/4 GM OSS Lens for Sony full frame mirrorless cameras. The US price for FE 200-600mm lens is $1,998.00 (B&H Photo Video/Adorama), the US price for FE 600mm f/4 GM OSS Lens is $12,998 (B&H Photo Video/Adorama), both lenses will be released in August, 2019.

Sony FE 200-600mm f/5.6-6.3 G OSS Lens & FE 600mm f/4 GM OSS Lens to be Announced Next Week ?

The official announcement for previous leaked FE 200-600mm f/5.6-6.3 G OSS Lens is expected next week sometime. Along with this super telephoto zoom lens, rumors said Sony will also announce a new super telephoto prime lens next week. The most likely to be announced lens could be FE 600mm f/4 GM OSS lens or FE 500mm f/4 GM OSS lens. In the past, there were already patent for these super telephoto prime lenses.

Pre-order for Tamron 17-28mm f/2.8 Di III RXD FE Lens Starts on 2am, June 6th ?

 

According to a screenshot of B&H Photo Video (Now already removed), the upcoming Tamron 17-28mm f/2.8 Di III RXD FE lens will be available for pre-order on 2am ET, Thursday, June 6th. Tamron previous said this lens will be available in the middle of 2019, seems pre-order of this lens will be soon. Currently still no price info yet. Stay tuned.
