This lens costs $598.00 in US, now available for pre-order at (Amazon.com/B&H Photo Video / Adorama.com). Shipping date is in March. Sony also announced a new HVL-F45RM Wireless Radio Flash for Sony A-mount and E-mount cameras, it costs $398.00 in US.

Sony today has officially announced a new full frame mid-telephoto prime lens FE 100mm f/2.8 STF GM OSS lens. The US price for this lens is $1,498.00, now available for pre-order online at (Amazon.com/B&H Photo Video / Adorama.com). It will be shipping in March, 2017.

In late 2016, a source already told us that Sony will release super telephoto prime lens in 2017. Now according to Sony Chinese Photography Qianli Zhang’s weibo, he also confirmed that a new super telephoto FE lens will be released in 2017. Qianli Zhang has teasing the new a99 II camera launch back in September, 2016.

A source told us that Sony is currently working on several super telephoto prime FE lenses for Sony Alpha full frame mirrorless cameras. Sony is rumored to announce their first full frame professional mirrorless camera next year (Could be named Sony Alpha a9), so release several super telephoto prime lenses are very possible.
