According to recently rumors, the upcoming Sony’s flagship full frame mirrorless camera Sony Alpha a9 is rumored to be priced around $6,000, similar price to Canon EOS-1D X Mark II and Nikon D5. The Sony Alpha a9 is rumored to be announced in early 2017.

- Prototype already in testing
- Slightly large than Sony a7RII
- No Built-in Battery Grip
- Dual card slots
