Tony Northrup has posted a video about upcoming Sony cameras to be announced in 2022. He though Sony will announce a3, a5, a7R V and a9 III next year. Just take with a grain of salt.

Currently, Sony has one unannounced camera code WW850128 got registered. This new camera could be long awaited entry-level full frame mirrorless camera Sony a5 or Sony a6. The official announcement for this new camera is expected in September next month.

Sony has just registered a new camera code WW119533 in China, this new camera code has Wi-Fi(2.4GHz) and Bluetooth. Based on the registered info, WW119533 is registered by Sony Wuxi, same as a6600, a6100 and RX100 VII. So this camera code will probably be a new RX model – the long awaited Sony RX10 V. There is also a chance this camera will be a new entry-level full frame mirrorless camera – the rumored Sony a5.
