Sony Alpha Mirrorless Cameras, Compact Cameras & Lenses Rumors
Along with the Sony camera code name “WW940439“, Sony has registered another camera code name “WW541200” at Bluetooth SIG. Currently, there are two camera code name hasn’t announced yet, one is “WW940439”, this camera is made in China, so it is likely be Sony RX100 VI compact camera. The other is “WW541200”, there is no other info about this camera code, could be Sony a7III, a7SIII or any other cameras ? Stay tuned for more info.

Where are Sony cameras manufactured ? The answer is Sony SLT cameras are made in Japan, Sony mirrorless cameras are made in Thailand and China, and Sony compact cameras are made in China (WuXi) (Except RX1 full frame high-end compact cameras, they are also made in Japan).
Polish website Optyczne recently paid a visit to Sony Japan, and had an interview with Sony managers from Sony Japan. According to the interview, Sony currently is developing longer telephoto full frame E-mount mirrorless lenses in the near future. As rumored before, Sony may release FE 135mm lens and FE 400mm lens in 2018.

Sony has just released new firmware updates for the FE 70-200mm f/2.8 GM OSS Lens and FE 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 GM OSS Lens.
Sony will have a new product announcement on October 25th, at 10am ET New York time, at PhotoPlus 2017, according to leaked image from SAR. So what will be announced on that day ? According to our source, the new camera will be the long awaited Sony RX100 VI compact camera. Several weeks ago, Sony already registered the camera code “WW940439” that to be RX100 VI.

Adobe today has officially announced the new Adobe Lightroom CC and Lightroom Classic CC. With the release of new Lightroom Classic CC, it means there will be no Lightroom 7 and no standalone version now. The old Lightroom 6 is the last standalone version of Lightroom that can be purchased outside of a Creative Cloud membership. Lightroom 6 will remain for sale for an undetermined amount of time, but will no longer be updated with camera support or bug fixes after the end of 2017.
