Since December 2021, Sony had stopped accepting orders of a7C (Amazon/B&H/Adorama) and ZV-E10 (B&H Photo/Adorama/Amazon), now according to Sony Japan, they will resume accepting orders of both cameras on June 24, 2022. This means a7C and ZV-E10 will in stock soon.

Sony today has officially released new firmware updates for a1 and a7S III full frame mirrorless cameras. Firmware version 1.3 for a1 brings 8K 4:2:2 10-bit video recording and Lossless Compressed Raw capture for stills. Firmware version 2.1 for a7S III adds the ability to record proxy footage while operating the cameras remotely via computer.

DxOMark has tested the image sensor of Sony Alpha a7 IV (B&H Photo Video/Adorama/Amazon) full frame mirrorless camera. According to DxOMark, Sony a7 IV sensor achieved a high score of 97 in benchmarking, which puts it in joint 7th position in DxOMark’s rankings for all sensor sizes, including medium format.
