Sony FE 70-200mm f/2.8 GM OSS II Lens Announced, Price $2,799 !
Sony today has officially announced the new FE 70-200mm f/2.8 GM OSS II lens (B&H Photo Video/Adorama/Amazon). This Mark II version is built around two pairs of XD ‘Extreme Dynamic’ linear motors driving its two focus groups, rather than the mixture of linear motor and ring-type motor used in the older version. Sony promises focus is up to four times faster as a result. The US price for this lens is $2,799, you can check pre-order options at B&H Photo Video/Adorama/Amazon. The release date for this lens is in December 2021.
