At the end of last year, Sigma released a new APS-C E-mount lens for Sony mirrorless cameras, this lens is Sigma 16mm f/1.4 DC DN Contemporary lens (B&H & Adorama).
According to Sigma, a new mid-telephoto prime lens for Sony E-mount is in development, our source told us this lens will be Sigma 50mm f/1.4 DC DN Contemporary lens, will be announced in early 2018, around CP+ Show in Japan on March 1st.
Along with APS-C E-mount lens, Sigma is also rumored to announce their first FE lens for Sony full frame mirrorless cameras. This first FE lens is likely be Sigma FE 35mm f/1.4 AF lens. The size of Sigma FE 35mm f/1.4 AF lens will be between Sony FE 35mm f/1.4 lens and Sony FE 35mm f/2.8 lens.Sigma CEO already confirmed that they will making new E and FE mount lenses for Sony mirrorless cameras.
